KUMAON VILLAGE WALK TOUR
The Kumaon region of Uttarakhand is famous for its serene beauty and lush green landscapes. In this tour, you will be taking walk tours of the villages in Saryu and Pindar valley to experience the rural life and interact with the people who live there. This tour will be a perfect blend of culture, tradition and hospitality nature of the people residing in these areas away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Apart, you will also get to see the magnificent views of the snow capped Himalayas. The village walk will be of approx. five to six hours a day.

| Day 01 | ARRIVAL DELHI |
On your arrival our representative meet and transfer to hotel. Start for Delhi sightseeing with Humayun Tomb of the Mughal Emperor and drive through the India Gate & President House and reach Rickshaw ride point. Explore Chandni Chowk on the Rickshaw in the heart of Old Delhi a busy shopping area with Bazaar full of spices and marriage saris through crowded narrow side streets and reach Jama Masjid largest mosques of India.
| Day 02 | DELHI – KATHGODAM – KHALI ESTATE |
Morning transfer to Delhi railway station to board the train for Kathgodam. On arrival, drive to Khali Estate and then check-in. Evening free to relax. Overnight in Khali Estate.
| Day 03 | KHALI ESTATE – VILLAGE WALK IN SARYU |
After breakfast, continue your journey to your village walk starting point in either the Saryu or Pindar Valley. Reach the nearest road head from where you will start the walk to your first village. On reaching, relax for some time and then meet your guide to discuss the days ahead. Overnight in the guesthouse.
| Day 04 - 11 | VILLAGE WALK IN SARYU AND PINDAR VALLEY |
You will walk from one village to another each day, lead by your guide. You will be staying three villages in Saryu valley - Supi, Khal Jhuni and Jhuni; and two villages in Pindar valley - Dhurr and Karmi, with two nights spent in two villages. Two nights will be spent in comfortable tented camp at Jaikuni, hovering on the ridge separating the two valleys. Enjoy the village walk and the majestic view of the mountains, interact with the communities and witness the local crafts and village traditions.
| Day 12 | KHALI ESTATE |
After breakfast, you will walk to the nearest road head and then drive to Khali Estate. Reach Khali Estate for overnight stay.
| Day 13 | KHALI ESTATE – KATHGODAM – DELHI |
Moning, after breakfast, drive to Kathgodam and on arrival, transfer to railway station to board the train for Delhi. Reach Delhi and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Delhi.
| Day 14 | DELHI –DEPARTURE |
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
