The Himalayas has always attracted nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. In this tour, you will visit some of the prominent serene hill stations of Uttarakhand state in Northern India that offers a magnificent view of the Himalayan peaks and the nature. Explore the beauty and serenity of Ranikhet and Kausani which are renowned hill stations of North India. Also, visit Binsar, a picturesque and sleepy hamlet in the Kumaon region, to get an experience of a calm environment, with a view of flora and fauna. Apart, you will get to see and experience wildlife at Jim Corbett National Park, one of the oldest national parks in India.

Day 01ARRIVAL DELHI

On your arrival our representative meet and transfer to hotel. Start for Delhi sightseeing with Humayun Tomb of the Mughal Emperor and drive through the India Gate & President House and reach Rickshaw ride point. Explore Chandni Chowk on the Rickshaw in the heart of Old Delhi a busy shopping area with Bazaar full of spices and marriage saris through crowded narrow side streets and reach Jama Masjid largest mosques of India.

Day 02DELHI – CORBETT

After breakfast, drive to Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest national park in India which was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal Tigers. It has also been honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973 to protect the most endangered species. Reach Corbett and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Later, visit Garjiya Temple and Corbett Museum showcasing the hunting equipment and other information about Corbett. Overnight at Corbett.

Day 03CORBETT

Morning, proceed for a jeep safari in and around the National Park. You may get a sight of the Royal Bengal tigers and other wild animals like Elephants, Crocodiles, Sambar deer, Indian Python etc. Also, there are around 586 different species of migratory and resident birds that are found in Corbett National Park. Some of them include Tawny fish owl, Palla’s fish eagle, blossom-headed parakeet etc. After safari return back to the hotel. Post lunch, proceed for the afternoon safari. Overnight at Corbett.

Day 04CORBETT - RANIKHET

After breakfast, drive to Ranikhet, the tiny hill paradise which was named after the queen who was enchanted by the beauty of this place. Reach Ranikhet and check-in at the hotel. Chaubatia Garden (famous for fruit orchards) near Ranikhet and Upat Kalika (One of the highest golf course) are the must visit places here. Overnight in Ranikhet.

 

Day 05RANIKHET – KAUSANI

Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kausani, a beautiful hill station which was given the name ‘Switzerland of India’ by Mahatma Gandhi. One gets to see the majestic Himalayan peaks of Trsihul, Nanda Devi, Nandakot and Panchachuli from here. Reach Kausani and check-in at the hotel. Evening free to explore the surroundings. Overnight in Kausani.

Day 06KAUSANI

After breakfast, visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi spent 14 days while writing his book on ‘Anasakti Yoga’. His archives and Charkha (Spinning Wheel) are kept here and there is a small library also where one can find books on Gandhian philosophy. Also, visit Pant Museum where famous Hindi poet, Sumitra Nandan Pant was born. You get to see the articles of his daily use, drafts of his poems, letters, his awards etc. Overnight in Kausani.

Day 07KAUSANI – BINSAR

Morning after breakfast, drive to Binsar, a picturesque and sleepy hamlet that is a paradise for nature lovers, offering a majestic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks and is also a home to many rare animals, birds and wild flowers. Reach Binsar and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Binsar.

 

Day 08BINSAR

Morning, visit Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary which is rich in flora and fauna. Binsar is known for its wide variety of flora with different types of trees and flowers, especially ruby red rhododendron. One also gets to see some animals and rare species of birds like parakeets, magpies, monal, woodpeckers, forktail etc. in this region. Overnight in Binsar.

Day 09BINSAR – KATHGODAM – DELHI

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kathgodam. On arrival, you will be transferred to railway station to board the train for Delhi. Reach Delhi and transfer to airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
