KUARI PASS – LORD CURSON’S TREK

Kuari Pass - The heart of the Garhwal Himalayas

The Kauri Pass trail situated in altitude of (3850 m) is located in the heart of Garhwal Himalayas. This trek is found by British Governor General Lord Curzon was the first person find the trek trails route in the 20th century and famous as “Lord Curzon Trail”. This trek trails connect one valley to another interior remote villages, pristine forests and beautiful landscape of Bugiyals for overnight camping. The beautiful view of the best panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Day 01DELHI – RISHIKESH

Arrival Jolly Grant Airport and meet our representative and transfer to Rishikesh. Later we visit Ashram & temples that line in the river bank and Beatle Ashram. In evening we will visit witness of Arti ceremony at Pramath Niketan situated across the Ram Jhoola suspension bridge lies right on the holy banks of river Ganga, nestled in the lap of lush, towering Himalayas. After ceremony return walk back to hotel.

Day 02RISHIKESH – RAMNI

Morning start drive for Nandprayag and entire journey along the Ganga river. Reach Nandparag the confluence of two river of Alaknanda and Nandakini and get right to Ghat through along Nandakini river and reach Ghat. From here we drive through small road and reach last village called Ramini. Here we meet our trekking staff and make our night stay in Alpine camp.

Day 03RAMNI – JHINJIPANI

Today after breakfast with packed lunch we continue our trek for Jhinjipani through beautiful forest, sometimes with a nice view of snow peaks. It is uphill trek for first 2 hrs till Binayak top. We can see the glorious view of Nanda Ghunti peak from this top and later there is very steep descend to village Jhinji. Dinner and overnight stay in Camps.

Day 04JHINJIPANI – PANA - SEYARTOLI

Today we continue our trek with packed lunch to Seyartoli through the Pana Village, which first half an hour steep descend and cross the small suspension bridge and gradually continue climbing till Pana and later half an hour walk down and reach Seyartoli bugyal from where we can see the view of Kauri Pass. Dinner and overnight stay in camp.

Day 05SEYARTOLI – DAKWANI - KAURIPASS

Today is a longer trek through forests, creeks and some possibility of wildlife. Kauri Pass means "Door way", Then trek goes down to Doma Bheta. From this point it is very steep climb till Kauri Pass. Binding view of snow peaks rewards for all our efforts to reach the top. Once you reach on the top you will see many high peaks of Garhwal can been seen from here as Kamet, Abi Gamin, Mana, Chowkamba and Dunagiri.

Day 06KAURIPASS - AULI

Toady we will see the sunrise on the Garhwal Himalayas later we trek down to Tali. through the mountain ridge a beautiful camping side. Later we climb for 15 minutes and continue our trek to Gurson Bugyal into the forest of Oak and Rhododendrons forest on the grassy land  to reach Auli. From Auli you can see the beautiful view of the highest mountain of Garhwal Nanda Devi peak.

Day 07AULI - RISHIKESH

Today we say good bye to our trekking team and start our drive for Rishikesh. En-route you will stop at Devprayag situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and the Bhagirathi rivers, to visit a Ram temple. Evening reach Rishikesh and check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

 

Day 08RISHIKESH - DELHI

Today on time we will meet and transfer to Jolly Grant Airport to board the flight for onwards destination.
