DO DHAM DARSHAN
This tour covers the two major shrines of Uttarakhand which are a part of the famous Chardham yatra in the Garhwal region. Chardham yatra commences from Haridwar and covers the four major shrines – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Each of these four sites is devoted to a specific Hindu deity. Here, you will cover Kedarnath – Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Badrinath – Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Many devotees, from all over the country and abroad, visit these shrines in the hope to experience bliss. Being located in the Himalayas, these places also offers serene beauty, giving a magnificent view of the nature.

Day 01 | DELHI – HARIDWAR |
Morning, start the drive from Delhi to Haridwar, which is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage and an ancient city where Ganga river exits the Himalayas. Late afternoon, reach Haridwar and check-in at the hotel. Evening, proceed for the Ganga Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri. Return back to your hotel. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 02 | HARIDWAR – GUPTKASHI |
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Rudraprayag and Tilwara. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at the hotel. Guptkashi which means ‘Hidden Kashi’ is a town of religious importance. It is believed that Pandavas in search of Lord Shiva came to this place and got the first glance of Shiva here only in the form of Nandi (Bull). Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi dedicated to God Shiva followed by another temple Ardhanareshvara, a half man half woman form of Shiva and Parvati.
Day 03 | GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH |
Morning after breakfast, drive to Sonprayag, from where you will start your trek for the Kedarnath Dham. You can also hire a pony or doli on direct payment. You will see Mandakini river flowing on the opposite direction, along your way. Mandakini which originates behind Kedarnath, is one of the major tributaries of Ganga river. Reach Kedarnath, and visit the Temple, where you can perform pooja and offer prayers to Lord Shiva.
Day 04 | KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI – RUDRAPRAYAG |
After breakfast, check-out from the lodge and continue for Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is the point of confluence of Alaknanda river flowing from Badrinath and Mandakini river flowing from Kedarnath. Reach Rudraprayag and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Rudraprayag.
Day 05 | RUDRAPRAYAG – BADRINATH |
Morning, start your drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Badrinath is an important Hindu pilgrimage site which is situated between Nar and Narayan peaks. Reach Badrinath and check-in at the hotel. Later, proceed for a visit to the holy shrine of Badrinath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is known to be of Vedic origin and over the decades it has undergone many renovations. Have a dip in the Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) here and then perform pooja at Badrinath Temple.
Day 06 | BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG |
This day proceed for a sightseeing of Mana, the last Indian village before Tibet which is inhabited by Indo-Mongolian tribe. Visit Vyas Gufa, Bheempul and have a sight of origin of Saraswati river. Later, drive to Rudraprayag and on arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Rudraprayag.
Day 07 | RUDRAPRAYAG – RISHIKESH |
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh – a spiritual city which is also known as the yoga capital of the world. Reach Rishikesh and check-in at the hotel. Later, proceed for the sightseeing visiting Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Evening, visit Parmarth Niketan and witness the Ganga Aarti here. Overnight in Rishikesh.
Day 08 | RISHIKESH – DELHI |
Morning, post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
